Technology. It makes our lives easier. There are people who claim that new technology is making us addicted. It is true, for some people, not everyone, though. But we’re not going to talk about those people. What I want to discuss with you all is newest technologies. So here we go.
From virtual reality to 3D printers. I can’t tell you how excited I am. If only I had money…Yes, it sounds awesome, but it costs lots of money. So go steal your parents credit card and…No, I’m kidding. I think it’s time to tell you about some of the newest technologies.
Virtual reality – virtual reality lets user interact with the virtual world and also creates sensory experiences, for example sight, touching and hearing. Let’s move on to the next one. Unreal engine 4 – it’s an engine used for rendering images, computer games. It’s free and you can find it on their website and start creating computer games, although it isn’t that easy…Now tell me, is this photo rendered with unreal engine 4, or is it real? The answer is…it’s rendered. Amazing, huh?
So what have I been getting to for so long? The answer lies here. Remember your childhood games. Super sonic, Mario etc. Now let’s combine them with virtual reality and unreal engine 4. Here is what we get = Video, where Mario performs his tricks in unreal engine 4:
Now that we’re talking about Mario, I remembered that my first nickname was “ItsmeMario”, because my name is Marius…you should get it. Anyway, tell me in the comments what was your first nickname ever used and now that you look back, is it embarrassing? If you still remember it though.
I guess this is the last one. I would like to talk more, but this time, I won’t. 😈
3D printing. Now this one is interesting too. 3D printing is a process of making a three dimensional object from a file. An object is being created by laying down layers of material that you (I think) put in the machine. 3D printing starts with making a virtual design of an object you want to create using 3D modeling program or you can use 3D scanner (to copy an existing object), so why not a huge sculpture of yourself? This is a video of how 3D printing process goes for those who are interested:
